Alerts
Configure Slack and email notifications for customer activity.
The Alerts tab lets you connect Slack and configure notifications about customer activity. You can also connect Slack from the Chat tab.
Connecting Slack
- Click Connect Slack
- Authorize Klime in your Slack workspace
- Select a channel for notifications
Once connected, your team can:
- Receive daily customer digests
- Get real-time alerts when specific events occur
- Get alerts about at-risk accounts
- Ask @klime questions directly in Slack
Daily Digest
Every weekday morning, Klime sends a digest to your selected channel with:
- Insight — Data-driven observation about your customer base
- Activity Chart — Visual of daily active customers
- Growing Customers — Customers with increasing engagement
- At-Risk Customers — Customers showing declining activity
Real-time Alerts
Get instant Slack notifications when specific events happen.
- Toggle Real-time on
- Select a channel
- Add the events you want to track (use the tag input to search and select)
- Click the send button to test
When a tracked event fires, Klime sends a message like:
⚡ Acme Corp triggered feature_activated plan: enterprise, seats: 50
The customer name links directly to their dashboard page. Event properties are shown below when available.
Notifications
Toggle notifications on or off:
| Notification | Description |
|---|---|
| Slack Digest | Morning summary of customer health sent to your Slack channel. |
| Email Digest | Same digest delivered to your inbox. Each team member can enable this individually. Use "Send now" to preview the email. |
| Real-time | Instant alerts when specific events occur. Configure which events trigger notifications. |
Troubleshooting
Slack not connecting? Make sure you have permission to install apps in your Slack workspace.
Missing digests? Check that the selected channel still exists and the Klime bot has permission to post there.
Need to reconnect? Click "Disconnect Slack" and then "Connect Slack" to start fresh.
Not receiving email digests? Make sure your email address is verified and check your spam folder.
Tip: Add @klime to #customer-success
Invite the bot to channels where your team discusses customers. Anyone can ask questions without leaving their workflow — just mention @klime.
